More Information on Tennis: 

High Desert Park and Rec Tennis  2025 Grades 2nd-8th

Tennis  will be April 1st – May (last day tentative due to construction on resurfacing of courts)  at the Tennis Courts next to the pool in Anderson Park.  Times are from 4-5pm, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, if there are any changes in times, we will keep you updated.  There will be a couple of extra tennis rackets and balls to share.  This is a super fun instruction that teaches the kids the basic rules and technicalities of the game.  Open to grades 2nd-8th.  We will be looking into a few fun games, that means we may be able to travel.  This is not set in stone, and we are just getting this program started, so please be patient with us for our first season and the construction that will be happening on the tennis courts.

The deadline for sign-ups is March 24th by 5pm.  Players will receive tennis shirts.  Only 14 Spots are available for the season.

Park and Recreation Tennis Courts

• Park and Recreation Tennis Courts are located at 1000 Oregon Ave right next to the High Desert Swimming pool.  The court features four play courts and a newly painted Pickle Ball Court with a movable net.  This court is available to the community at no charge.  It is run on a first come, first serve basis, so please be courteous when waiting for your turn.  The court runs off the same times as the park itself, 6am to 11pm and does have a fully functioning lighting system for those cooler morning/ evening hours.  The park does also have a basketball court for use by the community. New lighting on the courts make for cool and fun summer evening play. 
• Tennis Camp for Youth will be held June 2025.  Coaches are currently planning the camp and Age Groups and Times will be announced soon!
